About Alejandro Vasquez, Assistant Principal 

I am honored to be the Kyrene de los Lagos Assistant Principal and I look forward to working with all of you to ensure the success of all of our students.

This will be my 13th year as an educator, and my 7th as an Assistant Principal in Kyrene. I received my Bachelor's, Master's, and Post-Baccalaureate Degree from the City University of New York and I have a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership with Principal Certification from Arizona State University.

On a personal note, I am a native of Queens, New York, and moved to Arizona in 2010.  I live in Gilbert with my wife, also an educator, and twin boys, who will turn 7 in November.  We enjoy spending time together, playing outdoors, and traveling.  

I am a dedicated educator who wants to see every child succeed.  I will work closely with this community to ensure that we provide an excellent and equitable education to all students.  I believe in establishing a culture of communication, collaboration, and trust between staff, parents, students, and community.  I look forward to playing my part in providing the best education possible for our students.
